Sometimes, all of this magic can result in a collection of tops that sit folded on shelves in closets, waiting to be finished into quilts. We can help choose the quilting that best compliments the piecing of each top by drawing on our knowledge of the quilting process. Wilma Cogliantry, Christian Lane's custom quilter, has hand quilted for over 40 years and has been in business as a longarm quilter since 1998.   Jim Cogliantry, has machine quilted since 2002.   The Cogliantrys are members of the International Machine Quilters Association, and both have design backgrounds from Bowman Technical School, Lancaster, PA Jim Cogliantry also brings his 30 years experience as a tool and die maker to his quilting.

Most of our stock patterns can be sized to fit and we routinely design custom patterns specifically for customers' quilts. We provide a variety of quality battings, including cottons, polys, and wools. In addition to our wide backings, we stock quality bleached and unbleached muslins. If backings are purchased from us as a part of a quilting order, we will wash and press your backing at no charge. We offer a complete, hand-finished, binding service and a partial binding service:  we will prepare and attach binding to your quilt, from fabric you have supplied, for you to hand finish. Quilts are booked by reservation only. We will gladly book your quilting time in advance: call if you want to schedule time, especially if you need the quilt by a certian date. We will call you when your quilt arrives and it is checked in. We will notify you when your quilt is complete and will ship when your payment is received in full. If you are paying by credit card, you will not be charged until the work is complete. If you are using a credit card for a quilting order, you must call us with your account number.
